Overview
Finding targeted B2B leads manually from Google Maps can take hours of tedious copy-pasting. To solve this problem, I built a custom, fully automated Google Maps Lead Generation Agent using n8n.
With this workflow, anyone can submit a simple form specifying their target niche and location, and the automated agent instantly scrapes the required data, processes it, and saves structured leads directly into a Google Sheet—all within seconds.
How the Workflow Works
As shown in my implementation setup (), the automation runs seamlessly across four key stages:
On Form Submission (Trigger): The agent listens for a new form entry containing the search query (e.g., “Restaurants in Berlin”).
HTTP Request (Data Extraction): It automatically triggers a backend scraper API to fetch matching business profiles directly from Google Maps.
Split Out (Data Processing): The raw JSON payload from the API is parsed and split into individual clean business profiles.
Append Row in Sheet (Data Storage): The processed data is pushed directly into a designated Google Sheet in real-time.
