Step 1 — Brief & Reference Collection: Before touching a single pixel, I understand your vision. I review your brief, collect reference images, and clarify your retouching style preferences — natural & subtle, polished & refined, or dramatic & editorial.

Step 2 — RAW Processing & Base Edit Starting with your RAW file, I apply foundational corrections — exposure, white balance, highlight recovery, and shadow detail — building the perfect base for retouching.

Step 3 — Skin Cleanup — Healing & Cloning All temporary blemishes, spots, stray hairs, and distractions are removed using healing brush and clone stamp tools — preserving permanent features while eliminating temporary imperfections.

Step 4 — Frequency Separation Skin Retouching The skin is separated into texture and color layers. Uneven color, blotchiness, and discoloration are smoothed on the color layer while the full natural skin texture is preserved on the texture layer.

Step 5 — Dodge & Burn Sculpting: The most time-consuming and skilled stage. Using dodge and burn on multiple layers, I sculpt the light and shadow across the face and body — enhancing structure, creating dimension, and giving the skin a natural three-dimensional glow.

Step 6 — Eye, Lip & Feature Enhancement:t Eyes are brightened, sharpened, and enhanced. Lips are perfected. Teeth are whitened. Every facial feature receives dedicated, careful attention.

Step 7 — Hair Retouching:g Flyaways removed, strands detailed, shine enhanced, and the hairline cleaned up — hair is often one of the most overlooked elements in retouching, but never in my work.

Step 5 — Body Retouching Full body skin retouching, shape refinement, clothing correction, and jewelry cleanup — every inch of the image reviewed and perfected.
